What to Expect

Here's what happens during your visit, so you can come prepared and feel at ease.

Our pediatric ENT visits are designed to be comfortable and reassuring for both children and parents. We take time to explain procedures in age-appropriate language and allow children to become familiar with our instruments before examination. For conditions requiring surgery, such as ear tube placement or tonsillectomy, procedures are performed at accredited surgical facilities with pediatric anesthesiologists. We provide detailed pre- and post-operative instructions and are available by phone for any concerns during recovery.

When to See a Doctor

Your child may benefit from a pediatric ENT evaluation if they have had three or more ear infections in six months, persistent fluid behind the eardrum affecting hearing or speech development, loud snoring or witnessed breathing pauses during sleep, chronic nasal obstruction, recurrent nosebleeds, or congenital abnormalities of the ears, nose, or throat.
