About Walsh
Joy Walsh has worked as a medical speech-language pathologist since 2000, focusing on motor-speech disorders (including Parkinson's disease), swallowing disorders, and voice disorders, with a particular affinity for professional voice users.
She holds a BFA in Acting from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Science from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Outside of clinical work she enjoys writing, singing, performing with her band, and walking in the woods with her dog.
