Dr. Ameer Shah

Dr. Ameer Shah graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University with degrees in Spanish and Biomedical Engineering, then earned a Master's degree in Medical Science from Boston University School of Medicine — with a thesis on MRI technology completed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He went on to earn his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, graduating at the top of his class, and completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at Tufts Medical Center.

Board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Shah is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery and Director of the Inspire Upper Airway Stimulation Implant Program at Morton Hospital, treating obstructive sleep apnea. His clinical interests include head and neck cancer, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and pediatric ENT. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys international medical mission work, medical education, golf, cooking, and photography.
